Time flows and the fruits ripen. Thus, with the passing of the months and with the encounter with the market requests, also the ideas behind moolidoo are maturing and are continuously refining.
Initially, as you can still read in the post of a few months ago, moolidoo was born with the intention to create an alternative currency (the moo) that companies bought and used to “thank” their employees, which, in turn, would use it to thank and reputate each other and finally buy prizes from a catalog.
The ethics and altruism inherent in such a project, aimed to improve living and working conditions of people people, further prevailed.
Now, in fact, moolidoo has completely abandoned the concept of prizes catalog, eliminating the speculative aspect that manifested in people through the use of their own “credits” account, like a savings account, which aims the accumulation of moo for the subsequent acquisition of material goods, which, however, strongly limited the “freedom” of thanksgiving.
Today, companies are increasingly attentive to the social, and indeed, often establish a social balance and make donations to Non Profit Associations, so moolidoo fits in precisely at this level. With mooliodoo the companies don’t donate more directly, but buy the moo, which will be “loaded” on the accounts of each employees who, in addition to thank and use it to build a personal curriculum, they will have the honor and responsibility to use them for donation to Non Profit Associations. So, the company discover what is his real ethical conscience, because the donation is no longer a private thing of property or administrators, but it becomes a subject of discussion, work and growth of everyone involved. And in this way, abandoned the materialism, people will have no conditions that can stop them to thank each other, and consequently donate on behalf of the company. This activity sensitize people to a collaborative, human and altruistic culture.
